Or, hmm. New Detectives are Sean Flanigan, of Baltimore, and Doug Watson, of New York, who met in grad school, in 2004, and started writing songs on Saturday afternoons in Doug’s living room. Their first song was called “Life Is Winding Down.” The rest is not history, but it is the past.
